Here's the link to an interesting article on cross training. Of course, cross fit training what you're doing when you're participating in an FB4U workout, as if you didn't already know. I'm sure none of you have wondered why we incorporate stand up- sit downs into our routines, or rolling from side to side or any of those less conventional exercises. (No, Casey's not completely crazy.) Varied workouts are so important to really being "fit." This article kind of explains the FB4U workout philosophy behind the variations.
